Before completing a Request for Certification and/or a Yellow Ribbon application, students MUST submit a copy of their Certificate of Eligibility to veterans@american.edu. If you are using Chapter 31 VR&E Benefits, please reach out to veterans@american.edu to confirm a Purchase Order is on file in lieu of a Certificate of Eligibility

Yellow Ribbon Application 2025-2026 and 2024-2025

If starting classes in Fall 2025, please complete the 2025-2026 Yellow Ribbon Application. 

The 2024-2025 application is available until July 31st 2025 if Yellow Ribbon funding is requested for courses in Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and/or Summer 2025.
